Jason is an energetic and highly focused Executive Chef from Massachussets, boasts an impressive track record of meeting and exceeding culinary goals. Renowned for his independent leadership style and organizational prowess, Maynard thrives under pressure, making high-level decisions with ease. His collaborative spirit and relentless can-do attitude have earned him recognition as a dynamic team player in the culinary world.


With a keen eye for creativity and a commitment to quality, Maynard's culinary skills shine in every dish he creates. His culinary journey began with fond memories of baking cookies with his mom, leading him to pursue an Associate of Culinary Arts at the New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, VT. He honed his skills at renowned Boston establishments, including Sonsie with Chef Bill Poirier and Troquet, before joining Mistral. His eight-year tenure with CHG as Executive Chef at Mistral and Mooo Beacon Hill allowed him to refine his craft under the mentorship of Chef Mitch Randall and Jamie Mammano, while learning invaluable hospitality lessons from Mark DaAllessandro.


Jason's illustrious career spans several esteemed establishments, each contributing to his culinary expertise. As the Executive Chef at Sogno in Woburn, MA, he spearheaded the opening of a 300-seat restaurant, showcasing regional Italian cuisine with the finest local and imported ingredients. His culinary prowess earned him recognition from Boston Common magazine as one of the city's most influential restaurateurs.


Prior to his tenure at Sogno, Maynard made waves at Rossetti Beverly in Beverly, MA, where he partnered with Chef Bobby and Chris Rossetti to merge old-school Italian dishes with French techniques, resulting in a memorable dining experience.


At The Bancroft in Peabody, MA, Maynard showcased his expertise in menu development, cost control, and quality oversight, planning promotional menu additions based on seasonal availability.


In his personal life, Maynard enjoys eating endless amounts of mozzarella sticks with his life girlfriend and partner Emi. He also finds joy in spending time with his beloved labs, Barley and Winnie, rounding out his passion for both food and companionship.
